Honda Motors Corp, saat ini tengah merampungkan serangkaian uji terhadap hacthback Honda Civic generasi ternaru. Rencananya, mobil itu akan diperkenalkan di gelaran North America International Auto Show (NAIAS) di Detroit, Amerika Serikat, Januari 2011.
Laporan USA Today seperti dilansir autoevolution.com, Kamis (23/12) menyebut, proses produksi hatchback anyar itu akan dilakukan pada 2011 itu juga. "Kemungkinan besar dipasarkan pada musim semi. Hanya, informasi tentang rincian mobil ini masih minim," sebut laporan itu.
Informasi yang beredar sebelumnya menyebut, mobil itu akan dilengkapi mesin empat silinder baik mesin bensin maupun mesin disel dengan dilengkapi peranti turbo. Mesin itu diklaim mampu menghasilkan tenaga 80 - 140 daya kuda.
Bahkan, mesin 1.300 cc i-VTEC dengan teknologi hybrid sangat mungkin digunakan sebagai salah satu sumber tenaga dari salah satu varian mobil itu. Civic baru memiliki postur bodi yang lebih ramping dan aerodinamis.
Sebelumnya, John Mendel, Vice President Marketing Honda Amerika memperkenalkan kendaraan konsep CIivic tersebut di webcast www.hondanews/live 2011 naias.
Ia menyebut, generasi kesembilan Civic itu merupakan paduan antara Civic hatchback (depan) dan Accord yang dipasarkan di Amerika Utara. Saat ini, Honda dikabarkan tengah merampungkan serangkaian uji akhir mobil tersebut.

Mercedes-Benz Viano To launch in IndonesiaPT Mercedes-Benz Indonesia (MBI) is announcing the readiness to launch its MPV luxury in Indonesia. The car is Viano.
The Viano sets to launch about February 2010 and about 20 Viano CBU units has been prepared.
The price of Mercedes-Benz Viano predicted would be about 1.1 – 1.2 billion rupiah.
Viano must tight battle with the existing MPV luxury such as Honda Elenor, Nissan Elgran, Toyota Alphard and Hyundai H-1.

Geely, the China’s car maker, just launched 2 type Geely models in Indonesia called Geely MK1 and Geely MK2.
The MK1 is Sedan car with price between 120 - 136 million rupiah while the MK2 is hatchback car with price between 130-136 million rupiah.
Both models use the engine capacity of 1500 cc DOHC 4-cylinder. The resulting power can reach 69 Kw at 6000 rpm and torque of 128/3400 rpm
