No more teasers, preview the DS4 is now official and responds to the first name of DS High Rider. After the B segment occupied by the small DS3 meet Mini MiTo and other new Audi A1, Citroën now looking towards the C-segment and prepares for what to give serious competition to the Audi A3, Volkswagen Scirocco and other Volvo C30. Before commercialization expected in any year-end for the final model, is the concept car made from every angle.
The front panel is clearly inspired by its sister premium, the DS3. The same grille framed by large trapezoidal and hearing the same big fires swept back. In contrast, the stern is a different curve of the wing very pronounced horizontal and fires as last C5 but fitted with LEDs instead of square blocks of the DS3.
Profile hesitates between rondouillardise and dynamism, and the roof of differently colored body resembles a canvas top. The wheels are larger diameter and the car will even allow dual exhaust outlet, spread over the sides of the shield.
The dimensions of DS High Rider would be slightly different from the current C4 three-door listing since 1480 mm in height and 1820 mm in width (it's the latter), but a shorter length with 4260 mm.
The DS4 final should be in any year-end marketing to begin in early next year. Then it was the turn of the DS5 ...
